Re: 'Missed Miscarriage'

I had an ultrasound at 7w3d and it showed heartbeat. At 11w, my doc said she could hear the heartbeat thru doppler.

At 13 weeks, however, I started bleeding. Ultrasound then determined my baby has died about two weeks before (right about hte time of my doppler).

Before I started bleeding at 13w, I had absolutely no reason to worry (except for the fact that I had a miscarriage before, and that I'm 38). My doc was extremely happy with how the pregnancy progressed and all...

I'm not trying to scare you. I hope everything is fine with you.

If you're really worried, just go to your doc and request an ultrasound. My doc had said I can always get an extra ultrasound out-of-pocket, and that would cost $220.

Good luck!!!! -F
