I would certainly be very cautious about surgery! Here is a link to something i have done, and others too which has avoided surgery. I would consult with a naturopath before doing this during pregnancy, but it would seem a safer alternative to surgery, and you get to keep your gall bladder.

There are different ones listed. I did one where i drank only fresh pressed apple juice for 3 days, and on the evening of the third day i drank a half cup of olive oil mixed with lemon juice and laid down. I took an herbal laxative the next morning. I passed many gall stones and i'm not that old. I want to do it again when i'm not pregnant to hopefully ease morning sickness for the next baby.

Keep in mind that MD's are not trained in herbal medicine.
