Louisa: I had spotting just like that with my first pregnancy and almost exactly at 20 weeks as well. It turned out to be a very sensitive cervix and caused no problem at all with the pregnancy, my little girl is now almost 6 years old!

You should however call your doctor right away, don't go by anyone elses experience solely because each case is different....your doctor will probably want to see you and do an u/s to check on things.

Please be encouraged but also give your dr a call about it, he/she works for you!
