I am not a doctor, but was in a minor car accident at about 25 weeks with my first baby. The doctor told me that the baby was very cushioned inside. And the baby turned out fine. How bad of an accident were you in? My guess is that if it was a minor fender bender like me, it didn't cause the tear. If it was a bad one, that may be a different story and way beyond my expertise. What did the OB say? My guess is that neither insurance company wants to pay anything so they're fighting about it. Good luck! BTW how is the baby doing?
