A lot of variables here. Some second babies are larger, some smaller. Also second deliveries are often easier as you have already stretched. If you are favorable the week before your due date, I say go for it. Anecdotal story- Patient seeing me for second birth-first baby 8#12oz, forceps, told could not deliver bigger baby, almost c/s, same as you. Came to me for second child due to insurance. I agreed to try to get babe out early, but was not favorable. finally was favorable at due date, came in to induce, but already in labor. Spontaneously delivered a 10#5oz child with very little tearing. Moral of Story: You just never know
