I don't know how far you cast your net to find one- did you just look in your immediate area? If you have insurance, I would call the insurer and see if there is a female listed in the plan , even if you have to go out-of network, and pay out of your pocket. Or try the medical licensing board in your state and surrounding states.

I don't believe in gender bias, however, and I would go to whoever is most competent if no female RE is available, otherwise you'll never get a possible solution to your problem.
