My uncle is the head of radiology at a hospital in So. Cal. and when I told him I was sad that I would only have 2 U/Ss he said they try and ONLY do 2 because as he says, "when they started doing X-Rays they thought they were completely safe too" and since it APPEARS U/S are safe but they have not been in use long enough to really determine, he said, the fewer the better...I don't know why more docs don't take this stance?
