pregnancy with history of Pulmonary EmbolismFrom: Alicia (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun, 9 Mar 2003 17:41:44 -0600 (CST)
I'm a 20 year old female who about 6 months ago had severe pulmonary emboli after being on bcp's for about 4 months. It was quite severe, and am currently on coumadin, to be taken off in a few months. My concern lies with future pregnancy. The bcp I was taking was Cyclessa, a very low dose of estrogen. Will I be able to have children without severely risking my life? What are my options?
