According ot my sources, these are agents used to induce labor. If they work, then it is very easy to get an overdose that would cause the uterus to go into prolonged contractions and that is not good for the baby. With pitocin, we can CONTROL the dosage and monitor for the effects and stop it if we get too much effect. With these medications, Who Knows????????????????
