8w3d and U/S showed no heartbeat

My LMP was January 6. I spotted a little bit on Tuesday, very little and haven't spotted since then. I had a bloodtest two days ago to check my levels and HCG was 29,000 but progesterone was low. The dr put me on progesterone suppositories last night. My question is, she did an ultrasound last night to see what's going on. My cervix is tightly closed. She saw the pregnancy up at the top of uterus, but couldn't locate a heartbeat. she also said my uterus is tilted back, does this interfere with anything? She told me that it might be too early to see a heartbeat or it could be hidden in a corner. What are my chances? AT 8 weeks a heartbeat should be visible? I have another bloodtest tomorrow to see what HCG is doing, going up or down. and ultrasound on monday. Should I prepare myself for miscarriage or should I keep up hope that everything is okay?
