terrified about a sub chorionic bleedFrom: lee (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 3 Mar 2003 21:23:52 -0600 (CST)
I have been searching all over the internet and have found very little about sub chorionic bleeds. I am currently in my 11th week of pregnancy and have developed a large bleed. I have now been on bedrest for a little over a week and the bleed has not decreased in size. I am not getting any answers about what to expect to happen. The baby seems to be doing very well and is very active and strong. What I would like to know is what are my chances of carrying this baby to term with this chorionic bleed remaining the same, or should I prepare myself as much as possible for a miscarriage. If there is a possibility of making it to term, is there anything I can do to help promote the bleed to go away.
-- thank you for your time,
