Don't be expressing/pumping breastmilk at this early stage - you need to get the breastfeeding established first and he is still very young. The best idea I ever read was in a Sheila Kitzinger book and basically if its possible you and your baby go to bed literally for a couple of days and feed, feed, feed - I'm sure you would love the rest too. This gets the milk supply well and truly established - and its only a week since the birth so it usually takes a few days for the milk to "come in" after the colostrum which comes first. The more you feed him the more milk your breasts will produce - its that simple!! Hope this helps and feel free to mail me some more.
