Here is a post I found in the archives from 2000, it was about 3 posts under your own when I put in a search for "long luteal phase" There are several other posts in there as well that have a variety of information concerning your question. I am not trying to be rude or say you're ignorant, I'm just trying to help you out, so please don't take this the wrong way. This needs to be looked into. Pregnancy can do it, progesterone therapy can do it and lack of ovulation but with symptoms of ovulation can do it.
