Dear Emme,

Average woman feels movement for the 1st time between weeks 18-22. So, you may not feel anything for another 3 weeks - no problem. If you are much above your ideal weight, you will feel movement later (week 22 or even later yet).

In addition, once you feel movement, you probably won't be feeling it every day right away. That was disturbing for me - baby is under viability and I have not felt movement for 4 days. My husband was not worried at all because the baby was very active on ultrasound at 18 weeks before I could feel movement at all.

So, I would relax... and if you cannot, ask your doctor to listen to the heartbeat just in case.

:)
