hi, i am 35 years old , i have daughter 2 1/2 years old . i wanted to get pregnant again but had a miscarriage in june 02,it was only a few weeks and the doctor said that it was a false pregnancy. Then when i recovered i asked my doctor to give me some fertility drugs .She put me on colmed for 3 cycles but nothing happened and i stopped taking it .Then i got pregnant without the drug and now in my 18th week and feel the baby move and kick . I had an ultrasound on 02/28 and was told by the doctor that the baby's size is smaller by 10 days!!!and he has asked me to come again in three weeks to see if the baby grows any more. i could see the baby move and kick around and the doctor said that the baby seems perfectly fine and my blood test was 15000 ( i cant remember what test it was because i was in shock!!!)but he said every thing is normal but we must wait for three weeks and if there is no change then it means that there is an infection or a chromosomal disorder,if there is anything wrong then i must make a desicion to either keep or abort the baby!!!!(HELP!!!). PLEASE tell me how accurate these tests are? my doc hasan't done any blood sugar test and this u/s was my first in 4 1/2 months of pregnancy.I was also very sick in my first 4 months but now i feel perfectly fine but i have lot of white discharge. Please tell me what i can do to improve my baby's chances of being normal.
