Re: DOES SEX REALLY SPEED UP LABOR?

My doctor told me to have a lot of "enjoyable" sex prior to my due date. He explicitly told me to make sure I had orgasms to help prepare my cervix... also, your husbands semen will help prepare your cervix. However, my baby was late and ended up being evicted.... induced... since they botched the epideral I ended up with c-section. So I don't know if all that sex helped or not... but the doctor did reccommend it... I remember coming home from the docs office and telling my husband the doc prescribed lots of orgasms this week.
