'white coat syndrome' and pre-eclampsia

With my first pregnancy, I gained 63 pounds and developed high blood pressure near the end. Well, actually, the blood pressure was only high because I was nervous about my weight. When the doctor decided to induce with gels, she was surprised because my blood pressure all that day while resting was very good.

Same thing happened with pregnancy number 2. Only this time, although my blood pressure was proven again to be fine while resting, my urich acid levels were extremely high and an induction was determined to be the best course of action.

I am now 32 weeks pregnant with totally normal blood pressures at every appointment. As I'm not nervous about my weight this time, I'm thinking that my blood pressures may not ever show high. This is good... I'm just wondering... with the urich acid levels having been high last time, did I indeed have pre-eclampsia, even though my high bp's were due to anxiety?

Thanks...
