Beta QuestionFrom: Ashlee (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 28 Feb 2003 22:36:21 -0600 (CST)
I am currently 6wk pregnant, I was seen in the ER for pain (diagnosed UTI) and they ran a beta and did an u/s (at the time I was 5w3d) and my betas were 4520 (DR said he would have liked to see 4700) he also instructed me to have a FU beta the following day to see if my numbers went up... I got the results back from 5w4d and it was 4870... a rise of 250, but not a doubling effect... I have never had a m/c and have 2 kids, this is the first time that I have had my betas checked and have no clue if these numbers are good... please help! Thanks so much!
