I am 6 weeks pregnant and recently had my HCG & progesterone levels tested (due to 2 weeks of on & off spotting). The HCG was perfectly normal, but the progesterone was at 8.5. She presribed progesterone suppositories. My question is, will these actually aid in maintaining a healthy pregnancy, AND, should I be that concerned since the HCG level is OK?
