Oh my! I fear I've opened a can of worms! Obviously, if you have medical reasons for needing to know *exactly* when you ovulate or become pregnant, then of course... You need to do what you need to do!

However, if you are a healthy, assumingly fertile individual, then there is no sense in wasting money on these tests! What good does it do to take an HPT a few days before a period is due? You'll only be disappointed if/when it arrives! My point is that I've seen so many friends stress themselves out and waste money by obsessing over every little detail when TTC.

So, let me apologize to those who were offended because they absolutely *need* to know the exact time of ovulation and their pregnancy status ASAP. I did not mean to offend anyone, especially those with medical issues! I'm only suggesting to those of us who are fertile and are just anxious to find out, that we save our money and have a little patience when it comes to the HPTs. Oh, and have lots and lots of wonderful sex in the meantime, ovulating or not, because isn't it all about having fun while TTC?

Cheers!

Kate
