Re: Pain in pelvic regionFrom: Katya (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 28 Feb 2003 11:08:07 -0600 (CST)
Dear Rachelle, I am not a doctor and will not attempt to diagnoze your pain over the internet. However, I will just tell you about my experience and perhaps you will see some similarities. I used to get those low pelvic pains during the same time as you, and still do occasionally. I find that pelvic tilts really really help. Here's how you do them: get down on your hands and knees. Spread the knees about shoulder width. Now start moving your pelvis up and down, not too fast, really stretching your back both ways. If you have the same problem as me (baby's head pushing on your pelvic bone), you may actually feel it slowly slip away. I find that about 10 of those tilts usually help me for 2-3 hours... then I get to do them again! 30 weeks and pain-free for the last two weeks (finally), :)
