Hi there, I'm not sure if you and I share the same experience but just in case, I thought i'd deliver my two cents worth. I'm currently 28 weeks and when I was about 22 weeks I started to get this pain in my pelvic area. It was very low and painful. Everytime I walked it would really hurt and if i stretched a certain way...whoo boy..pain. I was sure that it was the baby's head pushing down and that any day I would be a candidate for pre-term labour. I talked to my obgyn about it and she said while the pain could be indicative of something serious in my case it wasn't. It was caused by blood pooling in the pelvic region, otherwise known as varicose veins. I had no idea that this was possible but it is, and it hurts. The only thing she suggested I could do to alleviate the pain was to rest with my legs up above my heart and to take baths to help the blood circulate. As for the baby movement, I'm sure most moms-to-be have been in your boat, I know I have. I still am somedays. At 22 weeks it's still normal to only feel your baby once or twice a day. Baby's at that age swim more than they kick. As he or she gets bigger and there's less room the ability to track more regular movements will get easier. However, if you're really concerned go to the hospital and they can use a fetal doppler and check to see how your baby's heartbeat is doing. If you're reluctant to go to the hospital try this: Eat a chocolate bar, a glass of juice, and lay down on your left side. After about 15 mintues or so baby should hopefully react to the sugar and food and make some movements. Hope this helps, sorry if it's a bit long. All the best!
