I just wanted to share my experience in case it may help. I am currently 9w2d, and have also had 3 transvaginal ultrasounds and my hcg levels checked:

6w3d - gestational sac only on ultrasound (sac measured 5w4d) - hcg at 11,482 6w6d - gestational sac only on ultrasound - hcg at 27,000 8w0d - yolk sac, baby, and heartbeat - gestational sac measured 6w6d - hcg not tested, but based on previous readings was probably around 100,000

I know what you're going through - I was a wreck the whole time because the ER doctor who did the first ultrasound said I was about to miscarry because they could usually see a heartbeat at an hcg of only 1,500 (mine was 11,482). My ob was much more optimistic. I read everything I could find on hcg levels and a lot of it seemed contradictory. Anyway, I think it is too early, at least for some women. Hang in there and keep up hope.
