I have to agree with Katya on this one...anything can happen that you may need medical care for right away, and it can add up to a lot of money very quickly. The fancy weddings are just for show anyway, when you get right down to it. If you really feel that you need one, have it later, no one has to know that you are already married. I don't know the laws in your state, but in mine all you have to wait after getting the marriage certificate is 3 days. The marriage certificate costs $50 here and they will marry you for free at the Justice of the Peace. I wish you the very best of luck in whatever you decide to do!
