I had missed my period in December (2002), first time in 18 years. Then, right after I had my pelvic exam, I had started a period, but it wasn't mine......this was very light and only required an occasional liner, bright pink and brown. I waited a few days after that was done and then took a few pregnancy tests. The first morning has come out positive twice, but the afternoon ones are negative. I then had my blood test from the Doctor's office come back saying negative, the same day my HPT was positive in the morning. I am really confused and am not sure what is going on. I am assuming that I am not pregnant, but how in the heck could the test even be positive? It still shows positive a day later. Anyone out there experience this?
