35 weeks pregnant and almost constant tightnessFrom: Marcelle (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 13 Feb 2003 10:24:34 -0600 (CST)
Hi there, I am 35 weeks pregnant with my first child. I have been experiencing braxton hicks contractions for a month now. The last two days feels like that were the whole uterus hardens, except now they do not seem to relax. I woke up last night a number of times and every time it is still tight. And it has been consistently tight for 45 minutes this morning since I got up. I also have some cramping in the lower pelvis occasionally. Can my uterus being tight like this affect the baby? And is there anyway to help my uterus to relax as it is rather uncomfortable? Thanks for your time Marcelle
