Just to second Heidi: You are not even at full term. Your baby, in all likelihood, isn't "done cooking". WHY would you want to force things? An induced early birth (and it's early until the baby is *ready*, and that's more than just lung maturity) will be hard on baby, and is way more likely to lead down the path to a c/s. Castor oil/cohosh don't make the baby drop, they induce labour. You might as well have a chemical induction at the hospital, but why fiddle with nature, when there isn't even a reason to worry for another 2 weeks at least? Will you consider "forcing" you child to walk, teethe, sleep through the night, if it seems to be "time"? (Just a rhetorical question, no personal attack!)
