I get that whenever I get a cold or sore throat, probably just the glands working overtime to fight off infection. I've never had strep throat, even when I had the little spots, and I've heard that if you do have it, you would know it! High fever, unbearable sore throat, just miserable! So don't worry unless your symptoms get severe and go to the Dr. on Monday just to make sure.
