Re: Husband left -To AmyFrom: lynn (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 31 Jan 2003 11:10:33 -0500
Amy, I'm so sorry for what you're going through. I'm not quite as sympathetic as the other women who answered. In fact, I am angry for you. How dare he leave you with 2 small children the day you are going in for a D&C!!! Now, more than ever, you need him and his support, and he chooses to run away and not take you or the kids into consideration at all. Very immature way to handle this. I feel so bad for you. True, he may just be "cooling off", but screw that. I hope you give him hell when he does come home. I hope this is not a pattern for him. My hubby knows if he ever did that, he'd find his stuff on the front lawn when he came home. If he did leave because you were speaking on this forum, to me, that was just an excuse. There is NOTHING wrong with you looking for support and help from doctors and women who have been in your shoes. My hubby was great thru all 6 of my miscarriages as much as he could be, but he always admitted to not feeling as devastated as I did. Guess it's different when it's growing in your body. That's why I like this forum -- others can totally relate to what you're going through. So, don't let him make you think you did anything wrong. You didn't. He did. Take care, be strong and let us know what happens. Peace, Lynn
