ok ..i have asked my perinatologist about what hope (the child-birth educator)says about protein preventing preterm delivery ..he says this is a crock!! if the babies are going to arrive early they are..sometimes there are nothing that can be done to prevent pre-term with twins..also i was on a high protein diet and went to a nutrionist with all 3 pregnancies and had pre-eclampsia..my doc also said if this is all that was needed to prevent pre-eclampsia it would be a miracle..since their are no known exact cause what causes it..and he has MD OBGYN ETC... after his name not child birth educator..justa little info...congrats to all you pregnant ladies and good luck to all the ones trying!!!! =)
