Hi - I think it may just be the flu...but wanted to check with you doctors anyway. My symptoms: Today while on the toilet I got very light-headed and when I got up I felt like I was going to pass out. (I didn't ... but it was close.) I had diarrhea about 3x this morning. My eyes are burning, my head hurts, belly is a little sore, and the most pronounced symptom is that I feel extremely weak and lethargic. My OB said to come in and he did the following: litmus test to make sure I wasn't having preterm labor (I wasn't); felt my belly; checked my blood pressure; and listened to the baby's heartbeat. He told me the baby is fine, and I'm sure he's right because the little guy's been kicking a lot all day. But -- am I okay? Could I have some very scary thing developing, or do these sound like flu symptoms? Thank you.
