Re: Pregnacy and endometrosisFrom: Alicia (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 29 Jan 2003 21:40:35 -0600 (CST)
How far along does she think she is? Have her call and ask the doctor if the ultrasound and the numbers for the bloodwork correspond with how far along she is. Stressing out isn't good so try to comfort her as much as you can. I myself had surgery last year for endo and ended up pregnant four months later. I have had pain off and on throughout the pregnancy. The cause is unknown but the doc says that it could be a combination of endo that couldn't be removed during the surgery and scar tissue resulting from the surgery itself. I'm not a doctor so I can't really say what the problem is (or if there even is one) If I were her, I'd be getting on the phone and asking the doctor some questions. Good luck!
