Ovulation and Headaches after stopping the pillFrom: Aimee (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 29 Jan 2003 19:53:48 -0600 (CST)
Medical History: I am 27 years old and have had one pregnancy, no children. I have been on orthocyclene for 10 years. This is my first month off the pill . My last period started on January 15 and I started using the ovulation prediction kit from the first day after my period so that I could track ovulation (I know this may be considered excessive, but I wanted to ensure I detected my ovulation if it occurred). I thought that I would have seen an LH surge by now, but I have not. My periods were fairly regular prior to going on the pill. What is the typical length of time to normal ovulation after stopping the pill? Also I have noticed that I get these dull headaches almost everyday after I went off the pill. Is this normal? Thanks!
