Dear Chand,

The reason you want to test in the morning is because the morning urine is generally most concentrated... so there is more hormone per mL of urine leading to easier detection. However, 11 days after your period was supposed to start is usually pretty easy to detect with a home pregnancy test... so your period may just be late. A blood test can rule out some other possibilies on why your period is late.

I would talk to Planned Parenthood and see what options they offer. Even if not free, they are almost certainly the cheapest place to go.

Best wishes,
