15 weeks w/myoma and spotting

I am 15 weeks pregnant, which was achieved with IVF. I'm the one who is posted overseas and who started spotting at 8 weeks and had a heavy bleed at 12 weeks with spotting on and off since. During all ultrasounds, the baby looks good, is the right size and has a good heartbeat. The doctor saw a blood clot on the ultrasound during my 8 and 12 week ultrasounds.

Today, I had another ultrasound. Now, the doc isn't sure it is a blood clot, but rather perhaps a myoma. He is not sure though, because whatever it is has a very regular shape, which he says is unusual. Also, whatever it is has grown since the last ultrasound. It is located behind the baby, whatever that means. My doctor says the placenta looks fine.

We are due to move back to the States in 3 weeks, but I will not be allowed to travel as long as the on and off spotting continues.

I'm just looking for more information, more answers.

If not a blood clot or myoma, what else could it be with such a regular shape? Is this likely what caused the bleeding and is causing the spotting, or is there likely yet something else going on? Do my chances of giving birth to this baby increase with each passing week? What are my chances?

Any information you can give would be so appreciated.

Thank you, Lisa
