DO NOT stop taking asthma medicine without consulting your asthma specialist. Asthma cases vary tremendously, and while going off maintainence inhalers might be appropriate for SOME patients, it could be dangerous for others. Many thousands of asthmatics deliver healthy babies each year while continuing their medication. Believe me, if you have an attack and can't breathe, the baby is going to be a lot worse off.
