Hi Chris, According to my experience, it is very hard, much harder than I thought to plan intercourse just right enough to conceive. The egg is usually released on day 14, if your cycle is regular, but if it varies then so does ovulation. What you should do is have intercourse every other day from day 10 until about day 16 or you can start a little bit later if you don't have time to be doing it every night! I was hitting my husband up constantly and after a while he was trying to avoid me so if your husband is feeling like you're a military drill seargent, then you may have to start later. Another option is buying an ovulation predictor kit. It measures the amount of LH (leutinizing hormone) in your urine. When the hormone peaks, ovulation occurs within 24-36 hour approximately. I used the test by Clear Plan, it has 7 test sticks and costed me about $18 at WalMart. It worked the first time I used it and now I'm pregnant! Keep trying and remember that a healthy couple can take up to 8 months to conceive with only about a 25% chance of it working any given month. Good luck! Michelle
