Horrific Pain under right breast, almost 23 weeks pregnant -advice?From: Laura (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 23 Jan 2003 08:18:42 -0600 (CST)
I am just over 22 and a half weeks pregnant with my first baby. Last night, while watching TV, the most horrific pain hit me. It was just under my right breast, deep in where the ribs are. It felt like a stabbing pain. Everytime I took a breath, bent down, or basically moved, this pain would just hit me. I went to bed, thinking it would go away, but it didn't. This morning I still have it. It does stop when I stop moving but comes back once I'm active again. I'm at work now because I'm not sure how serious this is. I don't even have a clue what this is but I'm assuming it's caused by my pregnancy? It's very painful, almost feels like I broke a rib under my breast. I know I didn't but that's what I imagine it would feel like. Any ideas what I could possible be experiencing? And is this harming my baby?? Thanks for your answers,
