I stopped my Advair when I became pregnant. I am on it now until I get my asthma back on track. It is a Cat. C drug but my Dr. thought it would be better to do the inhaled advair instead of oral prednisone. He thought so because since it is inhaled it doesn't get into your bloodstream as easliy as prednisone. Prednisone is a Cat. B drug. I've read however that they don't know the results of the drug, advair, on pregnancy. Right now the benefits of the drug are critical for me and the baby to get oxygen. Good Luck, I would talk to your Dr. and see what he/she says. FYI: Cat A. and B are OK!!!
