i had my baby's hb measured at 10.5 weeks, and it was easy to find........but i have my own doppler at home now and have noticed that in the past week (i'm 13 weeks now), it is very difficult to find the hb.......that's cuz baby's moving......i find it, then baby swims away.......so i think that is probably what happened at the dox.........don't worry........just go for your u/s and you'll be reassured then.........you should consider renting a doppler so you can use it on your own every day at home.......you can rent at babybeat.com or heartones.com.........this may make you feel better in the meantime before your u/s.........good luck!
