Because of other issues such as polycystic ovarian syndrome, there were still some things that had to be fixed. I ended up conceiving one child naturally and one through IVF and have two beautiful little boys. I believe it took a few months to get the prolactin level down, but they also diagnosed hypothyroidism at the same time so we had to get that dosage of medicine correct too. Parlodel can be a hard medicine to take (gave me headaches), but elevated prolactin can cause other problems as well in a non breastfeeding woman. It's kind of like get that problem fixed and lots of others may be corrected as well! Good luck! And oh yes, at age 25 you have age on your side. I was older when I started trying to conceive (had to wait to find the right guy).
