loss of some symptoms, but great HCG levels...confusedFrom: Tara (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 16 Jan 2003 10:59:02 -0600 (CST)
I am 5 wks, 4 days pg. I had an HCG test done yesterday because I was concerned about my loss of symptoms, mainly my breast tenderness and eating pattern. Over the last 3 days my breasts seems to be losing tenderness to almost no feeling and they even seem like they've gotten a little smaller... they really got big quickly. Also, I don't have an appetite anymore and when I eat is when I actually feel sick. I'm confused because my HCG were 7440 for 5 1/2 week pg. which my doctor said was great. They have been continually raising higher than doubling since the doctor first tested me at 3 1/2 weeks pg. I've already miscarried 2 consecutive times and I'm afraid this will be the 3rd. I tested positive for APA and I have a mild kidney disease and I'm doing everything right (taking baby aspirin, relaxation, and progesterone suppositories). My last two miscarriges my symptoms were much the same around this time, yet the HCG's never doubled and were always much lower. My doctor said I'll have to wait for a heartbeat next week with an u/s. Has anyone ever had great HCG levels with no major symptoms? Any medical advice or personal stories would be appreciated.
