I know that this is being paranoid, but my last pregnancy was a missed abortion which the dr. didn't figure out until there was no heartbeat with the doppler at 12 weeks. Tomorrow I am 12 weeks and have an appt. and even though I had a great heartbeat at 9 weeks, I am still scared that they won't find anything tomorrow, and I have had spotting 4 times during this pregnancy. They couldn't find a heartbeat with doppler last week, which I know is no cause for alarm. If they can't find one with the doppler this week, should I ask for another ultrasound or is that insulting to the doctor? I will be pretty shook up if they can't find it tomorrow, but I also don't want to be pushy or insulting.
