Talk to your ob-gyn. He or she should already know or will learn your birthing history and be able to tell you if this is a good idea or not. Most tubal ligations are not done through a complete cut across the abdomen today, they are most often done through laparoscopy (minimal scarring and quicker recovery time) But with 7 other children, I would be opting for a c-section too!
