Any line on a hpt, even a faint one, is considered positive. But all tests have certain time frames to consider. Most have a window of accuracy of 5 minutes. I suggest you take another test but follow the directions exactly. The test that you took that appeared positive after 20-30 minutes was probably false because of such a long exposure. If negative and still no period, test again in a week. Good luck!
