You ovulate slightly after (within 48 hours, I believe) the OPK turns positive. Though egg white cm is a good indicative that the vaginal environment is friendly to sperm and that it is around the fertile time, it doesn't always correspond perfectly with ovulation. Also, as you may be suggesting, the medication guaifenisen can thin cervical mucus. It is difficult to say the exact date of ovulation. Good luck. Not a doc.
