PCOSFrom: Abby (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 4 Jan 2003 17:04:44 -0600 (CST)
My husband and I have been ttc for a few months now. I have been reading about PCOS and am a little worried. I am 28 years old and still have a fair amount of acne - particularly around the time of my period. I also have less hair than I did when I was in high school, but I also took two rounds of Accutane when I was 17. I know that hair loss can be a side effect. I do menstruate approximately every 27-29 days. I think that I could be ovulating, but my bbt after "ovulation" fluctuates more than normal, but it never goes below coverline. I am not overweight, but I do have rather painful cramps during menstruation. I also had my thyroid level checked recently, which was normal. Several days before ovulation, I have a small amount of pink cm (only one time, usually day 8 of cycle). I have a little ewcm, but not as much as I used to. Do you think that I should be concerned? Thank you.
