Missed question - Ph Level

There was recently a post by a woman who had been getting bacterial vaginosis and yeast infections around the time of her period. A doctor recommended taking baking soda baths which would relieve some of the symptoms of the infections and possibly help to prevent future outbreaks. The doctor also said that taking these baths will lower her ph level and increase her chances of conception (since higher ph can kill sperm). Does this really work? How much baking soda should be added to the bath? How often should people take baking soda baths? I suspect that I have a high ph level. Thank you for your help.
