Skipped - Why pink spotting?From: Abby (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 4 Jan 2003 08:37:42 -0600 (CST)
I tend to have a tiny amount of pink spotting a day or two before I ovulate. It usually only happens once when I wipe (a drop or two of blood mixed with ewcm). I have been told that this spotting can occur before ovulation. I can understand how it might happen during ovulation or after (perhaps when the follicle bursts), but why does it happen prior to ovulation? Also, what would it mean if it happens 3-4 days before ovulation (only once and a tiny amount)? Thank you.
