I am to start Gonal-F injections in a few days if I am not preggers. I have been wondering how I would get someone to give me the injections as I live 30 miles from anywhere and my hubby hasn't yet learned how to give them. There's not enough time in this cycle for him to learn . I've been under the idea (or should I say misconception?) that the Gonal-F was to be given IM. I just read on a site that it is a SQ injection? Is this true info? I am sure hoping so. This I can do.

I have been told that the hip is the best injection site for IM's. I don't think I could reach my own hip like some do, at 38 I'm just not as limber as I once was. Can I give myself Gonadotrophin injections in the thigh?

One last question.....what cycle day is Gonal-F usually started on average and for how long?
